Special Collections Pamphlets

Pamphlets and ephemera offer a unique view of the time in which they were produced and the individuals and organizations that produced them. Usually, materials such as these were intended to fulfill a brief purpose—often propogandistic—and then to be forgotten.

The Mansfield Library Special Collections includes over 100 linear feet of pamphlet materials. These materials are present in a number of formats—including brochures, newsletters, broadsides, and occasionally selected periodicals—and they range in date from the late nineteenth century to the present. Items from the pamphlet collections can be used in the Archives and Special Collections Reading Room, but they do not circulate.

The finding aids listed below vary in organization and level of detail. The Montana Pamphlet Collection is our largest collection, and it is organized by subject alphabetically. Individual titles are not listed at this time.
