Get books, articles and more here or from other libraries

If OneSearch did not return the item you needed, it is likely not owned by the University of Montana Libraries or another institution nearby. Follow the steps below to find the best options and services for getting the materials you need. If you aren't sure where to start, please contact us!

Articles and journals

  1. Are you logged into your library account? Some results in OneSearch only appear when you are logged in.
  2. If you know what journal the article is in, search for the journal title and then search for the article title.
  3. Switch on the toggle next to “Include results with citation only” in the left-hand facets of OneSearch to search a larger collection of records and to find additional options for obtaining full text, including interlibrary loan.
  4. Can't find the article title in OneSearch? Search for the article title in Google Scholar or WorldCat. Often you can link to our full text resources from either source. If you have a DOI or PMID from a citation, use the quick article look-up tool

Books, CDs, and other physical resources

  1. Search by title in OneSearch.
  2. Is the copy that shows up checked out or is it owned by another nearby library? Click "Sign in to request items" and then "Request from another library."
  3. Search by title in WorldCat; WorldCat is a worldwide library discovery system.

Still can't find the article title?

Fill out an interlibrary loan form

We will get it from somewhere else! Interlibrary loan obtains research materials not owned by the Mansfield Library for faculty, staff and students free of charge.
