The Wayne K. Cumming Fund

The Wayne K. Cumming Fund was established by Betty Young Cumming (‘51) and their children Beth Cumming Geelan, James (‘83), Kirk (‘78), Bonnie Cumming Nagode (‘86), and Robin Cumming Johnson to memorialize husband and father Wayne Cumming who earned degrees in business (‘50) and law (‘51) from UM. The family also wanted to recognize his love of reading, education and U.S. and Montana history.

The Fund will be used to enhance the Library’s history collection, specifically, materials pertaining to the Civil War and to Montana history, that the Library may not otherwise be able to acquire.
