Frequently Asked Questions
There are two networks available in the library: eduroam and grizzlyguest. Eduroam is for current student, staff, and faculty at the University of Montana or other participating Eduroam institutions. UM students etc. can connect to the eduroam network using their "netid@umontana.edu" as the username.
Grizzlyguest is the public Wi-Fi option, and is available to anyone! All you need is an email address to gain access.

Tech support circulates a few different video cameras. Unfortunately, we don’t have any digital cameras for circulation, but we do offer a GoPro, Snapchat Spectacles and Ski goggles with a built in camera. All of these items come with various accessories and circulate for 3 days.
YES! The library has several different scanners available. Depending on what you need to scan we have the scanner for you including; flatbed, sheet, and book scanners.
NO. When you log in to our computers with your NetID a temporary profile is created. Anything you do or save is erased after you logoff. Documents and personal information ARE NOT STORED on the computers. With that being said, save any documents to a flash drive or to the cloud to avoid losing them!
