Document Delivery

Document Delivery is a service offered by the Mansfield Library for University of Montana faculty and staff, whereby print materials that the Mansfield Library owns will be retrieved and made available for patrons to pick up or sent to the patron’s desktop in electronic format. Materials housed at the COT library will be delivered to the patron’s campus address.

If you know of an item in Mansfield Library’s print collection that you need for research, place an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request through the ILL web form.

Books from Mansfield Library stacks will be retrieved by library staff. The patron will then be notified that the item is available to be picked up at the library Circulation counter. Books from COT will be checked out to the patron and mailed to the patron’s campus address. In both cases, it is the patron’s responsibility to return items to either the Mansfield or COT Library.

Articles that are only available in print at the Mansfield Library will be delivered to the patron’s desktop in electronic format. Articles available in print at the COT library will be delivered to the patron’s campus address. These copies are yours to keep.
