"When considering financial assistance, consider your own attributes and the connections you have to associations, corporations, or other organizations. Many scholarships are not based solely on academic merit or financial need. For example, there are scholarships for students from a particular country, for art history majors, for the physically disabled or for women. Consider your background and the type of support you need, and apply to those programs for which you qualify."
