Use of UM Mansfield Library Meeting Rooms Mansfield Library meeting rooms have been designated for general, instructional, and special purpose use by The University of Montana faculty, staff, and students. The following general descriptions and use guidelines apply to all meeting rooms. Please link to each location for room-specific descriptions and guidelines.
The Buckhous Room, a general meeting room, is used for the following purposes (in priority order):
The Student Learning Center has been designated for library instruction. Instruction is the first priority and therefore the room may not be available for meetings. The Archives Teaching Room has been designated for library instruction with a priority for Archives and Special Collections faculty and staff and therefore may not be available for meetings. Special purpose rooms are the Poetry Corner and the Theta Rho Room. The Poetry Corner is primarily used as a library study area and seminar room. The Theta Rho Room is primarily a library study area that may also be used as an event space for Mansfield Library-sponsored events.
