Tunican Languages

The Tunican languages comprise one branch of the Hokan-Siouan family of languages. They were spoken in the southern United States and in Mexico. The entire branch is now extinct.

Languages on this page so far are Aranama, Atakapa, Chitimacha, Coahuilteco, Comecrudo, Cotoname, Karankara, Tonkawa, and Tunica.
