Albanian

updated 3-29-2002 Albanian (Indo-Hittite) comprises the Albanian sub-branch of the Indo-European branch of the Indo-Hittite family of languages. It is written with the Latin alphabet, and is the language of the People's Socialist Republic of Albania. Formerly it was sometimes called Albanese.
