Interlibrary Loan

In support of The University of Montana's mission to provide a quality-based learning and research environment, the Maureen and Mike Mansfield Library will provide users the dynamic services essential to identifying and accessing information. Interlibrary Loan (ILL) obtains research materials not owned by the Mansfield Library for UM faculty, staff and students.

One goal of the interlibrary loan department is to enhance the users' satisfaction by providing the most efficient turnaround time possible for requests. Please check the following resources prior to placing interlibrary loan requests to avoid unnecessary wait time.

For faster delivery of books and media items, check WorldCat and use the ILLiad link: ILL icon

You can also place a HOLD on an item in the Library that is not checked out or that is at one of our partner libraries.
