The Mike Mansfield Papers: Series Notes
XXXIV: Ambassador: Scrapbooks and Albums, 1977-1985 (12.5 linear ft.)
This series consists of scrapbooks and albums compiled by Mansfield's staff. They contain mostly newspaper clippings, letters, program, and invitations. Most are professional, but a few are personal materials relating to wedding anniversaries, birthdays, and other important events. Most of the materials are in English, but a few are in Japanese or French. Mansfield's staff often annotated the materials as they assembled albums, adding last names when only the first name was signed to a letter, for example. Materials are arranged chronologically.
