The Mike Mansfield Papers: Series Notes
Series XXV: Senate: Card File, 1953-1977 (307 linear ft.)
This series consists of a boxed card file that was apparently used in Mansfield's senatorial office. The cards index correspondence received from Montana constituents by Mansfield and refer to correspondent name and town in Montana, dates and subjects. Some cards also include box numbers, but it is unclear to which boxes these refer. Cards are arranged alphabetically by correspondent.
