Ordering photocopies:
All photocopying is performed by Archives & Special Collections employees. Please note that copy requests may be denied for items considered too fragile to copy without causing damage to the original. The following photocopy fees apply:
Single-sided black and white: $.25/page
Double-sided black and white: $.35/page
Color copies: $1.00/page
Maps and architectural drawings: $3.00/page
Digital camera use:
Digital cameras (flash prohibited) may be used to take pictures of Archives & Special Collections for personal use, study, or classroom use. A Camera Use form is required and is available at the Reading Room desk.
Ordering reproductions of photographs:
Archives & Special Collections provides reproductions of materials from our collections, including the photographs featured in our Digital Photo Project database. Reproductions will not have the Archives & Special Collections band visible in the bottom of images viewed online.
Reproduction fees are based on format and size.

Securing permission to use or publish images:
Archives and Special Collections encourages use of our materials in publications, exhibits, video and other formats and venues. However, we do require that a
Permission to Use form be signed and returned to us before we will grant permisson. Visit our contact page for more information about how to contact us.

Citation/Credit:
Any images used from our collections should be accompanied by an appropriate credit line based on the following model:
[item/image/page number (if known)], [collection name, photographer (if
known) or book title], Archives & Special Collections, Maureen and Mike
Mansfield Library, The University of Montana-Missoula.
Credits should appear in close proximity to the image or in a special section devoted to credits.
