Acquisitions Services

Acquisitions Services is responsible for acquiring all formats of serial and monographic material for the Mansfield Library.

Acquisitions Services enjoys the skills and expertise of a diverse group of people committed to finding, purchasing and processing materials efficiently while maintaining the highest possible standards of excellence. 

Given leadership and direction by the Acquisitions Process Manager, Acquisitions Services consists of 3 teams:

• Processing Team is responsible for the physical processing of all items passing through BMS.
• Purchasing Team is responsible for purchasing library materials
• Receiving Team is responsible for tracking and receiving library materials
