    Seeking History’s Touch: A Journalist in the Archives
    This year marks the centennial of the University of Montana’s School of Journalism, and October is Archives Month at the Maureen and Mike Mansfield Library. To help celebrate both, UM Professor Dennis Swibold will give a talk about how archives helped the School of Journalism explore its past and celebrate this important anniversary.

    Organizing, Annotating and Citing Your Digital References – for Undergraduates
    Join professionals from ProQuest and Reference Librarian Megan Stark to learn about ProQuest Flow, a citation management tool provided by the Mansfield Library, which can help you efficiently access and organize articles in electronic format, cite material from diverse sources, improve your bibliographic references and annotate research files.
  • Oct. 30th - 6-7:30PM
    The Threat of the Printed Word: Book Burning in Nazi Germany
    Peter Staudenmaier, professor of history at Marquette University, will present a lecture in conjunction with the Mansfield Library Exhibition “Fighting the Fires of Hate: America and the Nazi Book Burnings.”
